I am a Senior Lecturer in Marine Biology at the University of Liverpool.  I started this post in 2015 and before this I was a Research Fellow at the University of Gloucestershire and a Research Associate at the University of Oxford.  I did my DPhil at the University of Oxford, with Ben Sheldon and then worked as a Research Assistant for the University of Sheffield, before doing my first post doc with Steve Votier at the University of Plymouth.  I then held a Marie Curie Fellowship at the Centre d'études biologique de Chizé, CNRS.

I am really keen to support fellowship and PhD funding applications, so please contact me to discuss ideas. I advertise PhD projects every October and these are an open competition, opened to UK and EU candidates.  I am afraid I don't usually have paid internships and am unable to cover the costs of students coming to the field with us.
